How to Start Artificial Intelligence (AI)

IEEE Student Branch of Polytechnique Montréal has invited Prof. Benjamin De Leener from Polytechnique Montréal and former postdoc researcher at McGill University to give a talk on Artificial Intelligence (AI). This talk is for those who are interested in AI and want to know more about the future of AI. Following you will find a brief bio of Prof. Benjamin De Leener. The talk is free and open to the public, but an optional registration is advised. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

The talk is in English and will cover the following topics, but not limited to:

– What is AI (and its difference from machine learning and data science)

– Evolution and stages of AI,

– Required skills to start with AI/Machin learning/deep learning,

– Problems addressed by them, unsolved and open problems in this field,

– Prof. De Leener experiences with AI,

– Future of AI.
