IEEE Day 2020 (Tuesday, October 6)
IEEE Montréal Section is inviting you to celebrate the 11th anniversary of IEEE Day, a day commemorating the first time IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. Come join us for a virtual conference gathering bright minds from academia and industry where keynote speakers will share their ideas on how to leverage technology for a better tomorrow and deal with the current pandemic running across the entire world. Meet Montréal’s active IEEE student branches and affinity groups, check out their exciting projects and activities, and listen to successful IEEE members from academia and industry share their experience. This FREE event is open to all students, young professionals, and IEEE members. It offers a unique opportunity to expand your social and professional network and get involved in your university’s IEEE student branch. There will be a contest inspired by the COVID situation and the top three winners will be awarded gift cards.
