This workshop offers participants an engaging activity that demonstrates the application of ethical and responsible AI in addressing societal issues. Through the activity participants will develop and evaluate a machine learning model, while critically assessing its ethical implications. The activity is the first of three pedagogical kits presented in the morning, which were developed by a team from John Abbott College and Concordia University with funding from the PIM (Pôle interordres de Montréal).
