Dear fellow member,

Please join me in celebrating at the IEEE Montreal Gala co-sponsored by Tourisme Montréal and Palais des Congrès.  The Gala will be held at the top of the Olympic Tower on Friday, November 10 at 6pm (AGM starts at 5pm) and will include cocktails, dinner, keynote address, awards ceremony, and the funicular ride to the dining hall.

I am also very pleased to take this opportunity to announce that Prof. Gregory Dudek, McGill University, School of Computer Science, is the recipient of the 2017 IEEE Montreal Section Gold Medal Award.  Dr. Dudek is being recognized for his internationally renowned research in robotics and for promoting the Canadian robotics community.  Dr. Dudek will be giving the keynote address.
