May 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This talk will focus on the development and control of robotic
airships for monitoring and surveillance in the Brazilian Amazon forest, with
special emphasis on autonomous control & navigation. A brief description of
the Project DRONI (Robotic Airship with Innovative Conception) will be
presented related to the development of an unmanned airship (10 m)
with 4 electric engines to be used in environment monitoring at the Mamiraua reserve in central
