June 20, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 pm
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!

Microwave imaging has gained considerable attention for biomedical applications, particularly breast imaging. There are a growing number of research groups reporting scans of human subjects collected with prototype systems. This presentation focuses on methods to evaluate the consistency of scanning over time. As microwave imaging systems aim to detect change or identify anomalies, this evaluation is important for understanding the variability of scan results. Scanning consistency is explored with three different prototype systems designed for two different applications, namely breast imaging and hydration monitoring.
Refreshments (coffee & pastries) will be served. The event is free, but places are limited. Please register!
We are attempting to be eco-friendly at our events, and would like to kindly ask you to bring your own reusable coffee cup to reduce our waste!
